Indoor Activities at Crantock Village Hall

With two team changing rooms, modern toilets, disabled facilities, and a well equipped kitchen, the Village Hall provides a suitable venue for a wide range of activities.  The main hall has under floor heating and an oak strip floor ideal for dancing, parties, short-mat bowls and other social events. The smaller conference/meetings room is similarly heated, and has large picture windows and patio doors.  With 4 moveable hexagonal tables this room provides flexible accommodation for every type of smaller gathering.

The Crantok WI

The Crantock Branch of the Womens Institute meets at 2.00 pm on the second Tuesday of each month.  New members are always welcome. If you wish to know more or get involved contact Janis Ross, the local president on 01637 831229 or the secretary, Ann Evans on 01637 831140.


Zumba sessions are held on Tuesday evenings from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm.  New members or beginners are welcome at all sessions.  For further information contact Corena Eastwood on 07974 185138.

Memory Cafe

The Memory Cafe is held in the small meeting room in the Village Hall on the first Monday of each month at 2.00 pm.  Those interested should contact Di Dumpleton on 01637-830544

Baby Sensory

Baby Sensory is an award winning learning and developmental programme designed for babies from birth to 13 months. These baby classes vary each week so there is always something new and exciting to enjoy. All the activities aim to enhance learning and baby development in some way. Activities include singing and signing, light shows, bubbles, puppet shows and lots more to excite baby’s senses. The classes are split in to two age groups 0-6 months and 6-13 months so that the babies changing needs can be catered for. The classes are also a fabulous opportunity to meet other like minded Mums with babies of a similar age, a lovely opportunity to make friends or just to discuss experiences with each other. Classes are currently run at Crantock every Thursday morning. Email for full information.

Boogie Bounce

Boogie Bounce is run every Thursday evening from 6.00 -9.00pm. This provides a high cardiovascular and muscular endurance workout which is low impact on  joints and back. There are fun fitness classes such as Boogie Bounce Xtreme, Boogie Bounce Kidz and Beginners, Boogie Bounce Revolution & Clubbercise. Bounce yourself into shape and a newer you. Molly Music

starts from Tuesday 17 April. This class offers high quality music and movement classes for 0 to 5 years. Each week there will be instrument time, parachute time and bubble time experience. There are puppets, exciting props and treats for all the children. A music class with something for every child to enjoy. Classes meet weekly during term time and are divided into three groups as follows:

9.30am Molly Tods   (14 months to 2 yrs)

10.10am Molly Tots   (2 to 4 yrs)

10.50am Molly Pups  (Babies to 14 months)
